Amara's face darkened. Her eyes scanned Hazel up and down, and her face was filled with mockery.
"So they're the ones who booked the park? Is this what you meant when you said it was under repair?" Hazel raised her eyebrows slightly and looked at the staff.
Arthur tugged at Hazel's hand. "Mommy, can we go in now?
"Sir, others can enter, so why can't we?
"My sister really wants to go in and take a look!"
"Well…" The staff member turned and looked toward Amara inquiringly.
The Park was not private property.
Booking the entire venue was prohibited. But it had been booked for a wedding photoshoot.
Only the Black family was powerful enough to do so in the city. Lyra had yet to marry into the Black family, but people already regarded her as Mrs. Black.
"Can we enter now?" Hazel asked.
The staff ignored her.
He turned to look at Amara and Lyra. "Mrs. Haynes, Miss Lyra, are you done with your wedding photoshoot?"
