CHAPTER 229

Hazel said, "Okay, I will call him later. You can go out first."

"No problem," Cora replied and left the office.

Hazel frowned and sighed deeply.

However, Hazel controlled her emotion and handled the work at hand first. After thinking about it over and over, she decided to call Tristan.

Hazel thought, "I've contacted Tristan for nearly a month. He is probably anxious now."

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz

Tristan's phone rang.

Tristan was depressed these days because he could not reach out to Hazel. When he received Hazel's call, he hurriedly answered it.

"Hello, Hazel? Is that you?" Tristan sounded very anxious.

Hazel could tell Tristan was really worried about her.

"It's me, Tristan. How are you?"

"I'm doing good!" replied Tristan. He paused for a moment and asked a series of questions. "Are you okay? How's everything with you now? Where are you?"

Hazel said, "I'm at the company now. You don't have to worry about me."
