Chapter Fourteen

Angus POV

I just finished gathering some more wood for the camp fire that we had, when I heard a loud scream and then some strange commotion straight after. I looked over towards my grandmother who too had the same look as I did, worry. So, we both rushed towards the sound to make sure no one was possibly hurt, when we got closer to the edge of the woods, the noises got louder, that’s when I saw the sight I did. Bandits. Also, a young mystery woman fighting them off. I grabbed the closes large stick I could find and started to knock down and rattle some of the bandits away. After what seemed like a life time, the bandits seemed to have gotten the message and abandoned their mission. I turned around to see the mystery woman standing close by, but instead she was lying on the ground, knocked out unconscious. My grandmother was leaning over her, checking to see if she was still alive, she gave me a nod, which made me release a breathe that I didn’t know I was holding onto.
