Chapter Twenty-Four

We started heading towards the cemetery talking about our plans, until we realised that Belle and Angus had no weapons, so Angus suggested that we head towards their old home. When we got there, I realised that they were next door neighbours, no one had moved into our old homes for about ten years. I didn’t even remember living next door to the Tales family. Until a flashback happened:

*MEMORY – 1990*

I was six years old, outside training with my father, he taught me how to sword fight. Mother never liked it, but father would tell her that someday I could use the training and that would always get my mother to agree, but this time I wasn’t training alone. There was another child with me, he looked to be about nine years old. It was Angus as a young boy, and he too was getting trained by my father. He was holding a wooden sword like me, hitting a wooden mannequin just like me. Father was yelling and telling us how to fight and defend ourselves from enemies.
