Jody knew her friend well, and from the moment Liah saw Michael at her house last night, she knew Liah would confront her about it sooner or later. In this case, it was sooner, Jody thought with a sigh. Taking a deep breath, Jody approached her friend, who was waiting for her at the entrance to the hospital, with her hands on her hips and breathing like a dragon.
"What is he doing at your house? And why didn't you tell me he was there?" Liah demanded when Jody came to a stop in front of her. "Well, good morning to you, too," Jody says calmly. "Answer the damn question Jody!"
"Ugh, Evan brought him there and asked Joseph to let him stay for a little while, and I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to blow a fuse like you're doing now."
"We're best friends, you're harbouring the man who violated my little sister in your house, and you're okay with that?" Liah asks angrily.
"I am actually, seeing as though I don't believe he's guilty," Jody replied, keeping her voice calm. "You've known Zoey all her life, are you really going to stand there and call her a liar?" "Well, it's not like I want to, but I know for a fact that she is lying about this."
"You would believe him over Zoey? How could you, Jody?" Liah asked with tears in her eyes. "Come on, Liah, you're way too smart to be this short-sighted. Can't you tell that someone else is behind all this?" "Who, and don't you dare say David?" Liah growls. "Well, Michael believes it could be David, but Evan believes it could be someone from the other side pitting Razor's men against Michael."
"So you're really taking his side on this?" Liah fumes. "What surprises me, Liah, is that you're not on his side." Jody hissed. "This is the man you were locked in a room with for over two months. The man you fell for and went after like there was no tomorrow...
The man you gave your virginity to, the man you left your boyfriend of ten years for, lied to your family and disobeyed the word of God, for this is who we're talking about here, not some sick twisted pervert." Jody growls through clenched teeth.
"And yes, I may not have known him for as long as you have but I believe him when he says that he didn't do this and another thing, you were the one that said he never make love to you without using a condom, yet you really expect me to believe he would have sex with Zoey without one? Or that he would have sex with her at all? Bullshit! Someone is setting this man up, Liah. Why the hell can't you see that?"
"Yeah,I did ask her about that, she said he got caught up in the moment. She said he told her that he was experienced so she would be okay." Liah hiss.
"Caught up in the mo... God gives me strength." Jody groans, massaging her temples. "Liah, does Moses strike you as the type to get caught up in the moment with anyone or anything? And tell me this, with all your sexual encounters, has he ever been so caught up in the moment that he forgot to use a condom?" Jody asks.
"No," "Then I rest my case." Jody snorts. "You've fallen for him, haven't you? Liah asks in a jealous tone, then adds. "It doesn't surprise me that you've fallen for his charms just like I did."
"Rubbish! You didn't fall for his charm, Liah; he fell for yours, don't forget you're the one that went after this man." "Yeah, I did because I thought I could make him mine, but..." "But nothing, he's still yours, you're just too angry to see that, for God's sake, Liah, you went after this man because you saw him for who he really is. it was his integrity that pulls you to him and you damn well know it." Jody sighs in frustration, then continues.
"The other night, I came out of my bathroom with only a towel wrapped around me with the intention of making hot, passionate love to my man, only to run smack dab into Moses standing in my living room, and you know what he did when he saw me in that towel? He turned away so he wasn't facing me, that's how respectful he is, and you seriously expect me to believe that he is guilty of this? No way in hell Liah!"
"I can't disregard Zoey's pain, Jody," Liah says, tears running down her face. "Fine, don't disregard it, but investigate it, dig deeper, Liah, and let's find out what the hell is really going on. Something doesn't feel right about this, my gut says he's been framed and we need to find out by whom."
"Or maybe that's what he wants us to believe." "Liah..." "I don't want to talk about this anymore." Liah turned and walked away from an angry and frustrated Jody.

"Hi, babes, are you home?" Jody asks. "No, I'm at work, why?" Joseph asked with concern. "I'm calling Michael's phone, but he's not answering." "Oh, he was lying down when I was leaving the house this morning, maybe he fell asleep, I don't think he slept last night."
"Could you please go over there and check on him?" "Alright, I've a few things to finish up but I'll go check on him in about an hour." "Thanks, babes, let me know, okay." "I will, love you, baby, bye."
An hour later, Joseph enters his house, walks towards Evan's room door, and slowly opens it as not to disturb Michael if he was sleeping, but he soon realizes that the room was empty and the phone that Jody kept calling was on the table. "Shit," He swears, grabbing his phone from his pocket he dials Evan's number, after informing him that Michael was not at the house, he calls Jody.

Michael's dark eyes were focused on the entrance of the school. Before Joseph left the house this morning, he had told him that breakfast and lunch was on the stove and that he should try and relax until he and Jody return from work. Sound simple enough, he got through breakfast, a bath and three bottles of water but try as he may he just couldn't relax.
He needed answers that only one person could provide. He also knew that approaching this person wasn't a wise idea, but what other options did he have? Was he to sit back and let others find the answers he sought? Yes, that might be the wise choice in this situation.
So for the next two hours he tried convincing himself that letting the others handle this was the wise thing to do but as the seconds ticked by he found that he was becoming more and more restless, until finally he grabs his coat and march towards the front door, twisting the knob on the inside of the door he step out locking the door behind him.
It was easy getting out, but he wouldn't be able to get back in until they returned from work, or could he? He wondered as he stepped through the gate, closing it behind him, and made his way down the road.
A taxi stopped a few feet from him, picking up a passenger. He approached the vehicle, got in, and told the driver his destination. Half an hour later, the taxi dropped him off at the school gate. He paid what the man requested and made his way to a location where he could easily see the entrance to the school, and that was where he was currently standing.
As soon as he saw Zoey exit the school and make her way towards the gate, he walked over to her, grabbed her by her wrist, and dragged her to a secluded spot in the parking lot. "Moses, what are you doing here? Let me go!" She screams.
"I need answers that only you can provide. start talking." He orders his voice deep and intimidating. "Please, let go, you're hurting me. What do you want me to say?" She cried. "The truth, you know as well as I that I've never touched you inappropriately, ever, so why are you saying that I fathered your unborn child? Are you really pregnant? Or is that just another lie?" He growls.
"And here I was thinking that you were different. I didn't think that someone as upstanding as you would deny your child." She grumbles softly. "If you really are pregnant, then you know that child isn't mine, yet you speak as if what you're saying is actually the truth...
You really need to quit this rubbish, your lies are destroying my character and my relationship with your family. Why are you doing this? Who is making you say these things?" He demands, his tone so cold and scary that it sends chills down her spine.
She tried pulling her hand from his grasp, but his grip only got tighter. "Tell me the truth, why are you saying these things when you know they aren't true?" "Moses, let go, please let go, haven't you hurt me enough?" She cried.
"Ever since I entered your house, you've done nothing but come up with different ways for me to regain my memories, so what changed since I left your house? Why are you really doing all this, Zoey?" he demands again, turning her to face him. "Tell me the truth!" He growls, both his hands on her shoulders, she flinches and begins biting on her bottom lip nervously. "I'm sorry, Moses...I...Didn't...." A cold voice sliced through the air before she could continue.
"Get your mother-fucking hands off my sister," Anthony growls, cranking his weapon behind Michael. "Continue, you didn't what?" Michael asks, ignoring Anthony. "Tony, please make him stop, he's hurting me." Zoey cried, avoiding Michael's cold glare.
"You know I would never hurt you, so cut the crap and finish what you were about to say." He snaps, his grip wrapping tighter around her wrist. "Anthony, please." she whimpers.
"I won't repeat myself, you've one fucking second to get your hands off my sister or..." "Or what...?" Michael snapped, cutting Anthony's sentence short, then realizing he wasn't going to get any answer out of Zoey, he shoved her away from him and walked slowly towards Anthony.
"You're going to shoot me? By all means, go ahead, shoot." In a split second, Michael was inches away from a startled Anthony.
Grabbing the mouth of the gun, Michael positioned it at his heart. "Pull the trigger, I would rather die than be known as someone that would have intercourse with a child and have Liah look at me the way she did last night." Michael hissed, his face inches from Anthony's. "Sorry to break it to you, but you earned that reputation a long time ago." Anthony snorted with disgust.
"You really need to quit with that." Still holding the mouth of the gun, Michael twists it, then yanks it out of Anthony's hand, then, grabbing the same hand that was holding the gun, he drags Anthony further away from Zoey.
"What the fuck! Get your fucking hand off me!" Anthony barks, shoving Michael roughly away from him, then grabbing another gun from his waist, he again points it at Michael's head.
"If you have no intention of actually pulling that trigger, I strongly suggest you stop pointing these things at me and listen to me." Michael's voice was calm, cold, and deadly despite the situation he was currently facing.
Shoving the mouth of the gun away from his face, Michael took a deep breath before speaking in a low but firm tone. "Even though that situation back at Razor's house was forced on me, I never touched that girl sexually. Razor knew that, and he threatened to bring her back to the base and let all of you take turns with her if I didn't agree to take over the leadership position while he was away; that's the truth, Anthony. I never touched that girl sexually, and I didn't touch Zoey sexually. I'm been falsely accused."
"You really expect me to believe that, don't you, ass-hole?" Anthony asks through clenched teeth. He was about to raise his gun again when Evan ran between them. "Anthony, for your family's sake, put the gun down," Evan says calmly as onlookers begin gathering around.
Evan reached for the gun Michael was still holding, and Michael released it in his hand without hesitation.
"I've finally found you, you disgusting son-of-a-bitch." A voice growls from behind Michael. Michael turned and saw a man he had never met before, also pointing a gun at him, and despite the hostile situation, Michael couldn't help but snort.
"What the fuck are you doing here Jack and where did you get a gun?" Anthony demand. "This has nothing to do with you, Anthony. This perverted mother-fucker got my little sister pregnant and I'm here to kill him, as for where I got this gun, I bought it for the sole purpose of killing this piece of shit, from who I bought it, I would rather not say." Jack says Cranking the gun.
"Oh really?" Anthony asks, arching his brows. "Yes, my sister says that Michael approached her a few times, telling her how beautiful she was and how he loved and respected her and how she wouldn't regret giving herself to him. This disgusting bastard seduced my little sister and got her pregnant, and now he will pay, with his life."
"Now, why does that sound so familiar?" Anthony snorts, glaring at Michael. With his hands clasped behind him, Michael bites his bottom lip but says nothing. "Just what the fuck is going on around here? Why is everyone naming Michael as the father of their unborn children all of a sudden?" Evan barks.
"Isn't it obvious? This fucker has been walking around town impregnating young girls." Anthony snaps with scorn. "Now, with that been said, I'm the only one allowed to put a bullet in this fucker's head, so drop your weapon, kick it over here and get the fuck out of here. I promise I will get justice for your sister." Anthony says, waving Jack away.
"No fucking way, I came here to kill this ass-hole and that's what I'm going to do!" "Hey you idiot, do what he says or I'll put a bullet in your fucking head." Another voice orders from behind Jack.
Jack turned and saw one of Razor's men behind him with a gun pointing at his head. Sighing in defeat, Jack drops his gun and kicks it over to Anthony.
"Now get lost." Anthony barks. "Make sure he suffers," Jack says before walking away. "Oh, don't worry, he will." Anthony then turned back towards Michael. "So tell me, his sister is lying too, right?" Anthony asked in a sarcastic tone. "I don't know that man or his sister." Michael stared meeting Anthony's glare.
"Of course you don't, let's see if we can jog your memory back at the base, move." Anthony growled shoving Michael towards one of the vehicles. "You, take my sister home," Anthony says to one of the men.
"Anthony...you..." Evan began but Anthony's cold words cut him off. "You have one second to-back-the-fuck-up."
"You're making a big mistake." Evans says. "The only mistake I made was trusting this pussy." Anthony growls over his shoulder to Evan before turning back to Michael. "I-said-move." He growls shoving Michael again
"Are you going to just let them take him? Evan you know what those fuckers are capable of doing to him." Joseph turn anxious eyes to Evan. "You sure got here fast." Evan snort. "Yeah, I broke my own record, so what are we going to do about Michael?" Joseph ask.
"How quickly Anthony forget what happen to the last set of idiots that dragged that man somewhere against his will." Evan snorts then continues. "The thing is cuz, I didn't take Michael to your house because I was afraid of what they might do to him, it was more about what he might do to them...
Anthony is such a fucking idiot, he has no idea that dragging Michael back to that base right now is like dragging an extremely pissed off fox into a fucking hen house." Evan gritted out through clenched teeth.
"Hey Rowan, what was that all about?" the young girl asks walking over to the teen. "Liah's sister and Jack's sister are accusing Michael of getting them pregnant." Rowan replied. "Excuse me! Those bitches wish he had gotten them pregnant. I spend an entire night locked in a room with Michael, trust me he's not the type to have sex with under age girls." She hiss.
"Exactly and I'm going to need your help exposing those bitches for the liars they are." He growls. "Michael is one of the good guys, so just tell me what you need me to do."
"What I need you to do is this, befriend those two bitches, gain their trust, then take them down but be careful, they may be working for someone." He advise. "Don't worry, I'm on it."
