Chapter 26 - The Goddess

"We will leave you to rest some more and be back later to check on you, I am going to go and design a recovery plan to hopefully aid you in the coming days," Dr Thorne says this and then he and Luna leave the room, Thomas however doesn't move.

He watches me for a while and I watch him, then I ask him to talk to me as I fall asleep. So he does, he talks about the plans he thought of for us, he tells me about getting our stuff shipped to the new pack and our travel plans and I fall back to sleep with a smile and high hopes for the future.

My eyes dart between the three of them and when they finally settle on Thomas's unwavering gaze I'm able to breathe.
