There is one problem. Aren't we dead?" The room fell silent as they turned to see Luke standing there.

Elenore's face lit up, and she ran toward him, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "I'm glad you remember me!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with emotion.

"I can't believe you're playing my father in this book," Elenore laughed, her joy momentarily lifting the heavy atmosphere.

"Hey, we're not good right now; let's save the happy show for later," Toby interjected, his tone serious.

"Luke is right; we are dead. Even if we get out, most of us are going to die," Matt said, his expression grim.

"No, you can't be dead if you're alive here," Elenore argued, her conviction unwavering. "If you were truly dead, you wouldn't be able to walk freely. You would only be able to walk where you died."

"Wait, what? No, Elenore, my brother got hit in the heart. I got hit by three arrows. Luke was burned," Matt protested, disbelief clouding his features.
