Yin Ci was quite clear about what Lu Jianshen needed right now, knowing full well that she could make him obedient with just a few words.
A few pleas, a few tender words, and she was capable of delivering them.
But Lu Jianshen wasn't someone who could be coaxed easily, and she was even less so.
Although she was annoyed by his persistent teasing, she still resisted her impulse to reciprocate his affection, lifting her chin and saying, "In that case, why is President Lu wasting the time of those young people waiting outside the door?"
She adjusted her hair and was about to head upstairs when he grabbed her.
He placed his head atop hers and chuckled. "Is it so difficult for you to simply comply?" he said quietly.
Yin Ci didn't respond. Instead, she absent-mindedly asked while adjusting the knot on his tie, "Who is Han Fanyi?"
This wasn't the response Lu Jianshen wanted.
All he wanted was to enjoy some intimate moments with Yin Ci, not to engage in off-topic discussions.
