Little Anping pursed his lips and expressed his dissatisfaction in silence.
Until he heard a noise coming from inside the house, his eyes lit up instantly.
Anping bypassed Lu Jianshen and went straight into the room. He immediately saw Yin Ci standing in the kitchen preparing dinner.
"Mom!"
He called out joyfully and was swiftly at Yin Ci's side. Yin Ci put down what she was holding, and picked up Anping, patting his little head.
"What happened? Little Anping seems unhappy."
Anping clung to Yin Ci's hand, feeling relief at getting back something he'd lost. Seeing Yin Ci right in front of him, Anping voiced his grievance: "Mommy said she would pick up Anping today."
But in the end, it was Lu Jianshen who picked him up. Yin Ci glanced at the doorway. Lu Jianshen had just come in and changed his shoes. Meeting Yin Ci's gaze, he shrugged helplessly.
This was not his fault, and he didn't know what to say.
