The evening breeze brought a hint of chill after sunset.
Yin Ci was about to step forward when she felt a weight on her shoulders as a man's jacket was draped over her.
Seeing Yin Ci glance at him, Lu Jianshen dropped his eyes, "Wear this, it'll keep you from catching a chill."
She thanked him with a smile and they strolled leisurely side by side.
However, when the quiet path had only the two of them left, Yin Ci couldn't keep her thoughts bottled up any longer.
She looked up at the man beside her and pursed her lips discontentedly, "So if I don't ask, you plan on keeping me in the dark forever?"
She didn't like this feeling of being kept in the dark, she hoped that they could be more open with each other.
Upon this, Lu Jianshen stopped in his tracks, looking at Yin Ci somewhat helplessly.
As if he had anticipated such a question from her all along.
"I just didn't want you to worry unnecessarily."
"Since this has happened to me, do you think I wouldn't worry?"
