Chapter 135: Unexpected Visitor

"Sis, is it appropriate to do this during the Chinese New Year?"

Outside Yang Village, a military green jeep is parked on a road where the ice and snow have not yet melted.

In the car, a man in his thirties wearing casual clothes turns to the woman in the passenger seat who is smoking.

The woman's delicate face is one-third covered by sunglasses, and she is wearing a thin, long windbreaker, totally out of sync with the freezing weather outside.

This city-esque attire seems out of place in a remote rural village like Yang Village.

Yet, she had lived here for nearly twenty years.

The woman ignores her brother's question as the cigarette in her hand slowly burns.

The man is masculine with a dignified air and usually quite composed.

But even this composed man is at a loss for words in front of his sister's reckless behavior.
