Venting one's anger_1

Lin Xiangwan rushed in through the front gate, without greeting anyone, and headed straight for the children's rooms.

"Tongtong, Ranran..."

As she ascended the stairs, she kept calling out to her children.

Tongtong opened the door almost the same second, "Mom, Mom... the little brother was hit!"

"Tongtong!" Lin Xiangwan embraced her daughter with a pang of compassion.

Tongtong, acting the part of the big sister, wiped away her tears. "Mom, go see my little brother!"

Ranran then collapsed into his mother's arms, acting strong as he silently shed tears. "Mom, you're finally back, Mom..."

Lin Xiangwan tenderly lifted her child's head, closely inspecting the finger marks on his face and the red swelling on his forehead. "Ranran, it hurts, doesn't it?"

Ranran first nodded, then shook his head.

Lin Xiangwan was in intense pain. "Baby, don't be scared. If it hurts, tell mom. As long as I'm around, no one will dare to bully you!"
