Jun Mochan focused his full attention on Ye Ranran: "You should leave, my wife needs quiet and peace. Don't disturb her."

A brief flicker of embarrassment crossed the dean's face, but it quickly faded: "Well then, I won't disturb you any further. I'll take my leave."

The effects of the anesthesia wore off the next day, but Ye Ranran didn't wake up until noon.

"Did you stay awake all night?" As soon as she spoke, Ye Ranran realized her voice was hoarse and her chest hurt terribly.

Jun Mochan smoothed her furrowed brow: "The doctor said you've fractured two ribs. You're not allowed to speak."

No wonder it hurt so much, Ye Ranran's eyes moved, looking at Jun Mochan.
