Jun Mochan had said, "Call me when you get here," but Ye Ranran wanted to give him a surprise that wasn't quite a surprise.
"You've said I'm pretty, and you see I don't look like a bad person, right? Just let me in," Ye Ranran pleaded.
"No way," the soldier stood firm on his principles.
What to do.
When Ye Ranran was at her wit's end, a horn sounded from behind.
"Move aside a bit, will you?" Ye Ranran rubbed her head.
If she really couldn't think of a solution, she would have to ask Jun Mochan to come out.
The car stopped in front of her but didn't leave right away. Ye Ranran found it odd. She looked up and saw a face she did not want to see.
"Like a bad penny," Ye Ranran spat.
"Ranran, are you missing me?" Song Ze greeted her with a smile.
This was a rare occurrence; after all, Song Ze was usually too stingy to offer a smile to anyone.
"Indeed, I do miss you—to be exact, I wish you'd drop dead this instant," Ye Ranran replied with a sweet smile.
