Chapter 27 Punishment_1

Basil Jaak used a key to open the door next door and walked in with Xenia Wendleton.

The room wasn't as messy as imagined. Aside from a few boxes on the bed that needed to be moved, the rest of the place just needed a bit of dusting, so it didn't seem to be a laborious task.

"Let's dust later. First, help me move the wooden boxes on the bed onto the cabinet." Xenia commanded Basil.

"And you?" Basil retorted with irritation, as Xenia seemed to have forgotten that she was the one moving.

"You're asking about me..." Xenia hesitated with a finger on her lips before grinning mischievously, "Of course, I'm in charge of giving you orders. From these past few days of interaction, I realized how slow you are!"

"If you think I'm slow, then why don't you, the smart one, do it?" As Basil replied, he began toward the door.
