Although Jessica Flack's tone was cold enough to be irritating, Basil Jaak appreciated the caution, more like a friendly advice. Through their interaction, Jaak had almost certainly ruled out Flack as the mastermind.


However, when Jaak asked about Wallis, Jessica seemed hesitant to speak. After briefly introducing the basics, she jokingly commented on Jaak's increasingly 'heavy' tastes, smoothly sidestepping the topic and until they reached the Sky Garden restaurant, Jaak did not get any useful information out of Jessica.


From the Sky Garden, Basil drove directly to the TV station. Compared to his old antique bicycle, his brand new BMW was highly welcomed. Not only did the security at the entrance not bother Basil, but passing women also shot admiring glances at the car. Jaak was confident that if he invited these women, they would not hesitate to get in the car.
