Chapter 81: Defeat Beckett Again_1

Basil Jaak's hidden card was a Spade 10, coupled with two visible 10s, he now had three of a kind of 10s. According to Mr. Jaak's calculations, Beckett's hidden card might be a Diamond 10, with visible double Ace, Jerome's hidden card was a Club Ace, and Fiona Turner's hidden card was a Diamond Ace.

Basil Jaak had calculated everyone's hidden cards, essentially determining the outcome. He currently had three 10s. Regardless of whatever card came next, at the very least he would have three of a kind, while Beckett could only make a double pair at most, making him undoubtedly doomed to lose.

The two highest cards of Beckett's were a pair of Aces. Both Fiona Turner and Jerome held one Ace each as hidden cards. This meant that he couldn't possibly form 'three-of-a-kind' or 'four-of-a-kind' of Aces. Beckett's hidden card was a 10, and Mr. Jaak already held three 10s, meaning Beckett also could not form 'three-of-a-kind' of 10s, and could only form a double pair at best.
