Chapter 112: There Really is a Problem

Joy Bennett turned her head and saw that it was Basil Jaak and Xenia Wendleton who spoke. She blinked curiously and silently observed them.

"Joy, I don't think Mr. Avery has time, we should just give up," Xenia said to Joy.

Joy nodded in confusion. She felt it was a pity to miss this rare interview opportunity, but if Xenia did not want to proceed, she had no choice but to acquiesce.

A trace of anger flashed in Avery's eyes as he looked at Basil Jaak. "Isn't this Director Jaak from the Cloud Shadow Company? Why are you not with Jessica Flack?" he commented sarcastically.

Hearing Avery's words, Basil squinted his eyes. He did not believe that Avery was unaware that he had been fired by Jessica Flack.

"Oh, sorry, I forgot that you were fired by Mr. Flack," Avery pretended to realize suddenly, sneering at Basil with undisguised contempt.

Basil took a step forward, walked up to Avery with a cold smirk, and stared at Avery's lower body.
