Chapter 145: It's Rude Not to Buy a House When Getting Married_1

Basil Jaak opened the door of the Audi A6, made a welcoming gesture to Fenny Marshall, and invited her to take the co-driver's seat.

Fenny buckled her seatbelt and asked with a grin, "Did you strike it rich? You're driving such a nice car."

Basil Jaak shrugged and smiled wryly, "This isn't my car, it's my boss's."

Basil Jaak drove to the entrance of a local restaurant and asked Fenny, "Do you eat spicy food?"

"Yes." Fenny nodded.

"A friend and I ate here once, and the flavors of this place are really good, even better than some big restaurants. Some dishes are rather spicy though. Since you don't mind, should we eat here?" Basil Jaak asked Fenny.

Fenny smiled playfully and replied, "Sure! I'm determined to feast on your wealth today."

Basil Jaak rolled his eyes, thinking she might have bitten off more than she could chew.
