Chapter 161: Two People Overwhelmed with Just One Drink_1

Basil Jaak and Luther each grabbed a bottle of beer and started drinking.

Jaak was drinking at a leisurely pace, while Luther was gulping down his beer as if in a race, quickly emptying his bottle.

Seeing that Jaak still had almost half of his bottle left, Luther couldn't help but gloat, "Jaak, I didn't expect to beat you to this."

Jaak put down his bottle and smiled lightly, "I'm drinking with you three alone, I can't match you youngsters, so I got to take my own pace. Don't drink too fast, we're comparing alcohol tolerance, not speed. Drinking fast doesn't necessarily mean you can drink more."

"I understand, I understand. I'll take my time with this bottle," replied Luther, verbally agreeing but practically chugging his beer down at a faster pace. By the time he finished his second bottle, he was half a bottle ahead of Jaak.
