Chapter 182: The Reserved Private Room is Gone_1

Seeing Dawn Sutton seemingly watching him both consciously and subconsciously, Basil Jaak couldn't help but laugh and jest, "Miss Sutton, if you have something to say, then say it. You keep glancing at me from time to time, it's making it hard for me to focus on driving."

Dawn Sutton's face flushed crimson, she quickly turned her head towards the outside of the car, pretending to not hear what Basil said.

Basil knew that Dawn had a thin skin, so he didn't tease her further and seriously said, "Are you somewhat dissatisfied with what I did?"

Dawn didn't make a sound, but from the way her eyes blinked rapidly, Basil knew he hit the nail on the head.

Basil continued, "I smashed someone's car, then won his house and car. It may seem a bit excessive, but who was it that provoked us first?"

When Basil referred to "us", not "me", he naturally included Dawn.
