"Basil Jaak, how did you get here?" Fiona Turner looked up at Basil Jaak, her eyes flashing with surprise.


"I'm your bodyguard. If I don't come, who will?" Basil Jaak responded irritably.


Surprise in Fiona's eyes turned to tenderness as she looked at Basil. To her surprise, she found him rather cute, and he didn't seem as annoying as usual.


"Following you, a troublesome girl, is just my bad luck. On my first day as a bodyguard, this happens. Even if you offer me ten million dollars next time, I won't accept your business. You're just too high maintenance," grumbled Basil, shaking his head as he took out his phone and snapped a photo of Fiona. 


"Well, that presumes there's a next time. Right now... hey, what are you up to?" Fiona asked, puzzled.


"Rescuing you!" Basil replied tersely, before sending the image over a wireless network to Caroline who was waiting in front of a computer.
