Chapter 276 Throwing Car into the Pool_1

Thinking about Basil Jaak's car being towed away by the traffic management bureau, Mrs. Sutton and Bonnie Sutton ate their dinner hastily without much appetite. On the contrary, Basil Jaak shamelessly helped himself to serving after serving. Finally, Debby Sutton couldn't help but mock, "Do you think my house is an all-you-can-eat buffet?"

"Your cooking is delicious, Miss Sutton," Jaak chuckled, his face showing no embarrassment whatsoever.

"Eat, eat, eat... Your car got towed away!" Bonnie finally shouted, exasperated.

Flipping his hand, Jaak replied: "Didn't I tell you, Miss Sutton? They will obediently return my car."

"I don't believe it!" Bonnie retorted.

Mrs. Sutton didn't comment, but Jaak could see her worry. He knew she didn't believe him either.

Debby, however, squinted her eyes and smiled faintly, her thoughts unreadable.

Jaak grinned at Bonnie. "Since you don't believe me, Miss Sutton, shall we make a bet?"
