"Ding dong…" A crisp bell ring suddenly sounded.

Basil Jaak took out his cellphone from the bag by the bed, opened his eyes to look at it, and then handed it to Debby Sutton, saying, "Sutton, it's your aunt calling."

Debby Sutton lazily smacked her lips, pressed the answer key, and said to Mrs. Sutton, "Mom, what's up?"

"What kind of room does he have? I had late-night snacks last night and it was almost midnight. I was afraid I'd wake you up, so I asked him to drop me at a friend's house." Debby Sutton calmly fabricated a lie without showing any discrepancies in her voice.

Mrs. Sutton laughed and said, "Is that true? If so, give your phone to your friend, I want to thank them."

"I have already left her house and am about to reach Little Jaak's hotel." Debby Sutton explained calmly.
