Chapter 292 Distorted Logic_1

"Snake, snake, there's a snake over there!" Yetta Astir yelled in fear, hugging Basil Jaak and burying her head in his chest.

Honestly, Basil had known Yetta for quite some time, but this was the first time he'd seen her so scared.

Basil looked in the direction that Yetta was pointing. All he saw in the grass was a puddle of water. There was no snake. He laughed and said, "There are no snakes out on winter nights. You must have seen it wrong."

"I didn't see it wrong just now. There really was a snake with black patterns squirming in the grass," Yetta said, still shaken.

"It probably ran off," Basil said, uninterested in discussing the matter further. He glanced down at Yetta's lower body and teased, "I suppose you don't need any tissue now?"

Yetta looked down to find her pants properly fastened. Her face flushed, recalling the scene where she hurriedly pulled up her pants and ran out of panic. Her blush was so intense that it was visible even under the dark night sky.
