The Great White Shark, also known as the White Shark, Man-eater Shark or Cannibal Shark, is a type of giant predatory shark. They first appeared during the Miocene epoch, and are the only surviving members of the man-eating shark genus, they inhabit all the major oceans. The Great White Shark is large in size, and is the world's largest predatory fish. They can reach a length of six meters and weigh over two tonnes. They are the main predators of many marine mammals and also prey on seabirds, fish, and any other marine organisms they can catch. Great White Sharks also attack humans more than any other type of shark, thus earning a notorious reputation among aquatic predators.
