Jessica Flack was on the phone for thirty minutes. When she returned to the dining table, the sight that met her eyes floored her.


There sat Basil Jaak, nonchalantly twiddling his wine glass, his face unruffled. On the right, Lydia, Amanda, and Kayson, each wearing a forced smile, and opposite, Rex's group, their faces flushed and throats tight, belching, their faces resembling they've just seen a ghost.


Jessica Flack turned to Lydia and asked, "Lydia, where are Ban and Arno?"


 "They went to the restroom looking for Chen Guo and Kyler." Lydia replied with a bitter smile, "Chen Guo and Kyler got drunk."


Jessica Flack nodded and then asked, "What about Hoffman and Cruz?"


Lydia motioned down with her finger, towards the floor.


Jessica Flack asked, puzzled, "What do you mean?"


Basil Jaak pulled back the table-cloth revealing Hoffman and Cruz seated on the floor up against their chairs, snoring away.


 "Boom!" Jessica Flack slapped her forehead, on the verge of tears.
