Fenny Marshall raised his eyebrows in triumph, shooting an arrogant glance at Jessica Flack. Although his provocation wasn't that obvious, it still annoyed Jessica immensely.


Jessica slammed her chopsticks on the table, and glared at Basil irritably, "Eat it or not, it's up to you!"


Basil opened his mouth to explain, but Fenny swiftly grabbed him and dragged him outside, leaving Jessica sulking at the table.


"Such an ungrateful man, wait and see how I deal with you tonight!" Jessica cursed quietly, trying to turn her frustration into an appetite. But when she saw her chopsticks had fallen and gotten dirty, she could only huff in annoyance and continued her mental ranting about Basil, her worst offender!
