Just as they were about to consummate their intimacy, an urgent noise of footsteps reached them from the entrance. Basil Jaak instantly climbed off Fenny Marshall.


Fenny immediately felt a wave of loss and dissatisfaction, complaining irritably, "Are you playing with me?"


Basil put his finger on his lips, whispering, "I heard somebody coming."


With a huff, Fenny sat up on the bed, and snorted coldly: "Pfft, go find your beautiful boss then, don't bother me from now on."


On hearing Fenny's disgruntled retort, Basil immediately knew she must have thought that Jessica Flack had arrived. He couldn't help but say with a wry smile, "The footsteps were very heavy, definitely not how Mr. Flack walks."


"Ah…." To Fenny's surprise, she calmed down at once.


Basil suggested to Fenny, "Shall we go out and see?"


"Uh-huh!" Fenny grunted softly, about to get off the bed and go out with Basil, but he stopped her.
