"Look, there he is!" The guards saw Basil Jaak standing there, not having left. 


"I declare, whoever the fuck captures him, I'll reward him with ten thousand dollars!" Upon hearing the boss's words, they immediately resembled wolves eyeing a lamb, their eyes glinting with avaricious green light as they scrambled towards Basil Jaak. 


"Hmph!" Basil Jaak smirked with a hint of arrogance, expectantly watching them rush towards him like moths to a flame. 


A bunch of people stampeded over him, stepping on the vines Basil Jaak had laid down on the ground. 


The vines instantly sprang from the ground, tripping the ones who had charged ahead. And as they fell, they toppled others behind them, plunging the group into chaotic trampling. 


With the path already perilous, some people fell directly off the cliff, likely to never see the sun again. 


But this wasn't the entirety of their nightmare; it was merely the beginning.
