Chapter 249: Changing the Pot_1

Upon hearing Basil Jaak's words, Uncle slapped his thigh in defiance, provocatively saying to Lenwood Willock, "Did you catch that clearly now?"

Lenwood Willock frowned and replied, "Have you ever seen a drunk person admitting he's drunk?"

Uncle shrugged unconcernedly and shifted his gaze to Basil Jaak.

Basil Jaak lifted his drink, swaying as he said to Uncle, "Un...uncle, I...che...che...cheers...to...to you!"

To outsiders, it seemed like Basil Jaak's tongue was spinning non-stop.

Uncle raised his glass and shouted, "Good!"

They gently clinked glasses and each downed their drink.

After this drink, Uncle initially thought that Basil Jaak would be out, but he didn't expect the young man to still stand steady, albeit unsteady, by propping himself on the table. His brows furrowed and he told Basil Jaak, "Come on, Uncle will toast you another glass."
