The preparations for opening the store were proceeding smoothly when, in the blink of an eye, it was the fifteenth day of the first month, also known as the Lantern Festival.


Basil Jaak was playing cards with Yellow Hair and Zoc at the Night Fragrance Bar when he received a call from Krystal Flack.


"Jaak, how are your preparations coming along? Which restaurant did you book?" asked Krystal on the phone.


Bewildered, Basil responded, "Preparations for what? Book what restaurant?"


"Didn't we agree earlier that you'd ask my sister out for a meal? Jaak, please don't tell me you forgot about this," Krystal's voice suddenly rose several decibels, sounding quite fierce.


Basil laughed wryly, "If you hadn't called, I would've actually forgotten about it."


"You…" Krystal was speechless. How could he forget something so important?


Basil rubbed his nose awkwardly and chuckled, "Why didn't you call to remind me? Alright, alright. I'll go make a reservation now, is that okay?"
