Basil Jaak scoffed, "Do you think she would have given me a warm welcome even if I had acted differently? Mr. Solomon, we both know what's going on, so why pretend to be confused?"


Upon hearing Basil Jaak's words, Simon was startled at first and then said indifferently, "Well, since Mr. Jaak has made his stance clear, let me be frank. Mrs. Shaw heard about the opening of your shop and her Audi just happens to need maintenance, so she made a special trip to see if your place could take on the job."
