"Ahem, Miss More, sorry about that, I cultivated too late last night."
Basil Jaak came out of the room, after racking his brains, finally came up with a noble excuse, and as he spoke, he gave Kitty More a silly grin.
The masculine scent that wafted from Basil Jaak's body immediately made Kitty More feel uncomfortable. She quickly took a couple of steps back, not even glancing at Basil Jaak, and said, "You should pack your things. I'll wait for you here, and once you're ready, we can set off."
"Aren't we eating breakfast?"
"Are you still not well-rested? I thought you had gotten enough sleep and wouldn't need to eat."
"Hehe, Miss More, that joke, let me tell you, the reason I slept so deeply last night was mainly that I dreamed of you and didn't want to leave the dream world."
"Smooth talker! Your verbal skills are better than your fighting skills."
Kitty More expressed her dissatisfaction to Basil Jaak.
