In a place not far from Bamboo Island, where the sea had been defeated, there was a small island. The area wasn't large—about a hundred thousand acres—but other than some hunters and fishermen sent by trading fleets, there were hardly any other people.
This island had treacherous terrain, completely covered by tall trees, and among them roamed countless fierce beasts. Thus, the island was named "Hundred Beast Island."
Hundred Beast Island—a name that sounded terrifying. But compared to the Outer Deserted Island, it was child's play. The island was basically a training ground for outer and inner disciples of the Bamboo Sect. Therefore, the so-called "hundred beasts" merely referred to their quantity; the level of the fierce beasts was not even close to those on the Outer Deserted Island.
On the whole of Hundred Beast Island, by count, fierce beasts which could compare to a Cultivator at the early stages of Essence Core could be counted on fingers of one hand.
