"Didn't we tie you up?" Yves King asked in surprise, "I even purposely gave you a beating, leaving your face battered and bruised. Didn't that Liam Stevens kick you out of the troop because of this?"

"Heh heh, although I was tied up. But in reality, I didn't do a good job of guarding the arsenal." Hector Gordon replied nonchalantly, "I didn't sound the alarm at the first moment either. Even if this ended up going to a military court, under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have a good outcome."

Yves King fell silent, his complexion slightly pale. There was always a tradition of protecting each other in the military. Especially so for elite special forces like the Border Wolves which engaged in real combat even in peacetime.

Internal disputes were usually dealt internally. Only serious crimes like treason would result in military trial as they couldn't be covered up. After all, for any troop, having a member up for military trial wasn't something to be proud of.
