Last month, Bai Hu had just taken over the management of this bar.
Now it's nine in the morning, and normally bars close before dawn and open at dusk.
So, the North Pole Bar was devoid of customers. Waiters stood fearfully in corners while Bai Hu, expressionless, sat on a stool smoking one cigarette after another.
Close to him, a man lay in eerie silence. His face was contorted with terror, his eyes remained wide open, and a pool of fresh blood under his head didn't stir at all.
"Bai Hu, what happened?" Bai Qian asked anxiously. The sight of the disfigured man on the floor had startled her to the point of almost losing her footing.
Someone was killed. This was serious! If not handled properly, it could lead to prison or even a death sentence!
"Sister, I didn't want this to happen, I really didn't mean to kill him!" Bai Hu pulled Bai Qian up, sobbing as he did so.
