Chapter 154: [Women's War] _1

In the early morning, the bright sunshine streamed through the gaps in the curtains, illuminating Susan's bedroom, banishing the darkness and adding a hint of light.

In the darkness, Susan gradually opened her eyes, her gaze filled with confusion.

Where am I?

Almost subconsciously, Susan questioned herself inwardly. Then she found herself clutching her beloved teddy bear. Suddenly, it dawned on her: She was at home.

Realizing this, Susan froze again. What was she doing at home? Hadn't she gone out for drinks with that bastard who'd stepped in dog poop?

Susan tried desperately to remember what had happened the night before. Because she had drunk too much, her head began to hurt slightly at the effort.

She gently rubbed her temples, and once the pain subsided, Susan slowly sat up and turned on the wall lamp.

The light filled the room, transforming the previously darkened space.
