Energy, constantly supplied to the brain, allowed Chen Yang to eat copious amounts of chocolate without feeling the slightest hint of tedium.

Emerging from the residential district without consciously observing his surroundings, he ambled towards the street corner. Yet, the number and position of passing vehicles all registered in his mind. Even license plates could not escape his data collection once they entered his field of vision.

A person could, if they intentionally counted, note the number of vehicles that passed by them.

But if you asked them, how many pedestrians brushed past them along the way? How many trash cans did they see? How many streetlights were along their path? How many steps did they take?

They'd undoubtedly be dumbfounded, struggle to come up with an answer.

But doesn't that mean they never saw those things?
