Chapter 47 Murder Case (Part One) _1

A tunnel, a structure built underground or underwater, or in mountains, to provide a path for railways and roads for vehicles, has a history of nearly two hundred years since its first construction for a steam-engine railway in the United Kingdom in 1826.

In the suburban woods dozens of kilometres away from East Sea City, a mountain tunnel contracted by China Railway Second Bureau is under construction.

This tunnel project, which cuts through an entire mountain, has a total length of up to 1750 metres. Once completed, it is expected to reduce travel distance by hundreds of kilometres and is a project greatly supported by the city government.

At this moment, the entire tunnel project is almost complete, and it is expected that in a little over a month, the leaders can be invited to attend a celebration ceremony marking the successful completion of the project.
