"Should we have our infiltrators in the Holy Polante Theocracy try to extend an invitation to the Pope?"
The spy asked Blasphemous Lord Melogas.
The Pope, though now quite ruthless, generally still remembered old acquaintances and was unlikely personally to harm messengers from the Demon Race.
"Let's give it a try; the worst we could lose is one connection."
Blasphemous Lord Melogas said nonchalantly.
After the war, the Pope seemed to have lost all emotion and had grown cold and indifferent toward everything, his approach and attitude toward issues much more like those of an absolutely calm deity than a human.
Even though the princess was in the Demon World, the Pope never considered contacting them again, especially not at this sensitive time.
The Pope no longer wanted the princess.
Blasphemous Lord Melogas was now just waiting for the Pope to die so that she could completely take possession of the princess.
"Your subordinate understands."
The spy responded respectfully.
