The Last Present

He is laughing at me Patrick , he's laughing at my misery.i had promised pete to kill him with my own hands but look he didn't even let me keep my promise. Evan said crying.now my Lucas is going to hate me more for not keeping my promise ,how will I be able to persuade him now ,how, Evan asked devastated.

It's okay Evan shhh,stop crying , Patrick said trying to calm Evan down.

Take me home Patrick, Evan said wiping his tears from his cheeks.

No Evan ,you come home tonight with me , don't stay in that house, Patrick begged knowing what Evan could do tonight to himself.

Patrick ,will you take me home or i should drive by myself , Evan asked expressionlessly.

I will drive by myself then , Evn said and got up.

No ,no i will drive you okay , Patrick said and got up from the floor too.

They sat in the car and Patrick drove Evan back home , Evan got out of the car and told Patrick to go away .

Get going already , Nichols must be waiting for you , Evan said as if nothing had happened today.

Evan , Patrick wanted to say something but Evan cut him in between his sentence.

Just go , i am alright, Evan said and stood there for half an hour until Patrick accepted his defeat and went away.seeing that Patrick had already gone Evan also went inside his house and went to the kitchen.

There's no need to live for me now ,fuse is already dead ,so i have nothing to achieve so i am going to die today so that i can meet my Lucas as soon as possible , Evan said and took a knife from the knife stand .

Today even you can't stop me Lucas ,i promise ,i am going to come to you today forever to be yours , Evan said and was about to stab the knife in his heart ,when the doorbell started ringing , Evan tried to ignore it but when the ring didn't go off ,he put down the knife and went to the door.it Was a courier boy.

What is it , Evan asked emotionlessly.

Sir ,your parcel has arrived ,please sign here to get it ,the courier boy said holding a paper and pen infront of Evan .

No one sends courier here ,i think you got the wrong adress , Evan said and was about to close the door when the courier boy spoke up .

No sir ,you are Mr. Evan right ,this parcel is for you given by ,the courier boy read the name from the parcel and said ,it from Mr.fuse.

Evan looked at the boy holding the parcel in confusion and anger and took the parcel from the boy before going back inside his house.

He put this parcel on the table and looked at it with tears in his eyes.

What does he want from me ,even after dying he is not leaving me alone , what's the meaning of the parcel , Evan thought to himself and after some time ,he opened this parcel and saw a letter inside it.
