moving into the dormitories.

_______________________________

"I don't know why... But this feels anticlimactic" Jiro said as we both strolled in front of the UA dormitory, seeing

[CLASS 1-A] plastered in front of the building we could tell we were in the correct place.

"I expected a warming party or something..." I replied the whole thing felt strangely empty, entering the building we saw our other classmates busy moving into their rooms. Dragging their luggage up the stairs or those lucky through the elevator.

"So meet'cha back when we're done with our rooms?" Jiro asked, to which I of course nodded and thus we went on our merry way.

Struggle with the stairs or teleport my luggage? Of course, the answer was obvious as my suitcase magically appeared in front of my door labeled [15 - Rimuru Tempest]

I smirked at the jealous gazes as I simply opened my door to the empty dorm room.

"Damn, this is nostalgic... And not the good kind" Fortunately each dorm room was spacious enough to have 4 rooms. Living room, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet. However, the cramped college dorm room vibe was still there.

I began unpacking some of my things before haphazardly throwing them into the corner, finishing quickly I decided to begin designing my dream room. However, staring at the pile of belongings I began doubting wether that was possible.

"Am I going to have to go furniture shopping?" I muttered in annoyance looking at the empty dorm room even with most of my things set up it still felt empty.

'I should've definitely brought decor... This feels wrong' The entire place felt like a mental asylum.

"Furniture shopping it is..." I walked out of my room and walked down the stairs where I found the stairway blocked by a pink blockhead.

"Hey, Rimuru... Can I have some help? I accidentally brought my fridge here and I can't bring it any higher" Mina scratched her head awkwardly as my deadpan expression landed on her.

"This is the 3rd floor... How the hell"...

********************************

After a few short teleportations, I managed to exit the dormitory without Mina bothering me, exiting the building I saw Aizawa outside on his way inside.

"Where do you think you're going Rimuru?" Aizawa asks, thinking I was about to do some trolling.

"I'm going to buy some furniture... I don't have anything to put in my room" I replied as honestly as possible, seeing Aizawa stop in his tracks I felt tense for some reason.

"Well hurry and get back soon, tomorrow class won't wait for you... And your mother sure as hell wouldn't either" I felt chills run down my spine as I realized my mom will teach at UA now...

"I'm screwed aren't I" I muttered not expecting a reply however the scruffy head did.

"She's one scary lady, I tell you" Aizawa muttered like an old man making me turn in the middle of my step.

"You've met my mom?"

"Many did, I'd always get a call when she decides to freeze villains into statues..."

"U huh... I better hurry" I put more force into my steps as I was one move away from straight-up sprinting away.

.....

....

....

Exiting the UA campus I pulled out my phone to locate the nearest department store, I was about to teleport before remembering that it's illegal here...

"Damn Japan and having laws... Why can't you be like I-Island" I muttered while walking down the street following the GPS, I missed the times when I could disappear back to my hotel room and bring back the infinitely restocking snack shelf.

After enough grumbling, I finally made it to the department store and immediately began buying random things. Wall paint, tiles, sound acoustics, electronics. I filled the shopping cart with things I wanted to put in my room. Staring at my bank account I felt tears brought to my eyes as my 'rich kid's privileges would be revoked as soon as I swipe the card at the checkout.

Walking around I finally found the furniture and appliance section and dove right in, obviously, I wouldn't need half of the things sold as there is already a communal washing machinery and kitchen.

However, a fridge is just a bigger mini fridge, right? Soon my list was filling up with random things so I decided to take a more methodical approach.

Adjustable desk? I would probably need that... Remembering that old hunk of wood I would call a desk I grimaced while thinking about the carpal tunnel...

"I definitely need a bigger bookshelf" I stared at the shelf selection and swiped my finger on the surfaces, seeing the dust buildup I promised to fill them up with hames and books.

Yes, you heard me right, Mr. Rimuru Tempest reads books, it's truly a surprise. Of course, being a reincarnator I had to see what literature the MHA had to offer. Enough of that, I stared at a display showing TVs I looked at the uncountable pixel count before deciding.

"60' it is." I put my hands on my hips before picking a TV stand with matching colors.

...

...

...

"This chair is comfy" I felt like sleeping on the chair right here and there. But of course, I decided to buy it as well.

******************************

"Will that be cash or card?" I felt the heavy sarcasm laced in the cashier's words, of course, for a transaction of 4 million yen I wouldn't just pull out bills for no reason.

"Here you go" I let the cashier swipe the card as I watched my back account reduce, wiping my tears yet again I already made my goodbyes with my money.

"Alright, where are you going to send those appliances?" The cashier asked as she stared at the truck being loaded by a couple of workers.

"To UA campus, class 1-A dormitory," I said with a customer service smile as her face stiffened.

"U-uh sure we'll get that delivered" The cashier handed back the receipt before waving me goodbye with a stiff smile. Of course, my ears still caught her silent mutters.

"Damn rich kids.." the cashier rested her head on the register I exhaustion...

I feel you... The minimum wage sucks like hell.

I gave my condolences before leaving the poor plebeian to cry to herself. Seeing the truck leave to UA I got walking back.

**********************************

"Rimuru, don't you think this is excessive?" I heard Aizawa ask as I stared at the truck unloading crate after crate.

"I need to fill my room somehow. But I might've gone overboard" I shrugged my shoulders as I nodded to the workers who brought down all of my stuff.

"How much did this even cost? No scratch that where did you get the money from?" Aizawa asked while massaging his forehead as he signed the clipboard of the movers, unfortunately, I was still considered a minor and thus needed a 'guardian signature' humph.

"Alright let's go and start moving those in---" Aizawa was stopped in his tracks as the crates simply disappeared as well as the sound of crashing coming from the 3rd floor.

"I forgot you could do that"

...

...

...

...

...

"Alright and that should be it" I walked back and stared at the magnificent new dorm I now had. With its main colors being dark brown, gray, and black It felt oddly plain, however, if you were to see any of the furniture you could tell they're all high quality as hell.

"Thank you I-Island for introducing me to luxurious couches" I rested my back on the couch in my living room, being almost the same model as the one during my stay at I-Island I felt satisfied.

"It's a shame they didn't have 70+' TVs" I sighed in annoyance before I was interrupted by the sound of knocking on my door.

"Yeah?" I opened the door to find Aizawa waiting for me, he sighed before beginning to talk.

"Go to the shared living space, were about to talk about the dormitories and rules and stuff... Also gimme a caprisun" Aizawa held out his hand, clicking my tongue I complied before going downstairs.

***********************************

"Alright I'm sure that you've already noticed how the dorms are split but let me make this quick... Girls are on the right and boys are on the left, the first floor will be the common area, and each responsibility will be maintained by you. Every student gets one room with AC, a bathroom, fridge, and closet but I'm sure some of you already replaced them" Aizawa stopped with his tour glancing at me and Mina. Mina who blocked the passageway to the 3rd floor and Me who bought way too many things...

"Anyway you are free to go, go ahead and hang out or something..."

"Yes, Aizawa-Sensei!"

**********************************

"So Kirishima are you done unpacking?" Sero asked as the boys watched him collapse onto the sofa...

"Man, it was so tiring... But yeah" Kirishima waved his shirt as sweat built around his face.

"Good work" Midoriya raised his thumbs in approval before being interrupted by Kaminari.

"Man, this is kinda exciting, isn't it? We're gonna be living together!" Kaminari smiled while commenting, his excitement somewhat leaking to the others.

"That's true, though how we got the whole dorms wasn't very..." Sato said before stopping himself, everybody was pissed about the League of Villains suddenly attacking.

"Enough about the depressing stuff! We're going to be living together and as the class representative I will try my best to raise morale and discipline!" Iida seemed to get the atmosphere as he said while raising his hand to the air.

"Hey hey everyone!" Mina soon burst into the room with the other girls, her signature smile written on her face.

"Hey are you done unpacking? We were just hanging out" Kaminari asked Mina while eyeing the rest of the girls, seeing everyone in casual clothing felt a bit uncomfortable.

"Yeah we just finished, and you know what we thought of? Let's go and have a dorm presentation competition!" Mina smiled as she announced the girl's idea (which Mina just came up with).

"Huh?" Suddenly 2 students went stiff, Tokoyami and Midoriya stared at each other in understanding as they knew they were screwed.

"Huh? Wait wait wait wait!" Midoriya shouted as they all got dragged towards his dorm room. Opening the door they were presented with an All Might-themed room, with 5 very creepy lifelike statues of All Might in many different outfits.

"Oh wow, an Otaku's room!" Uraraka exclaimed as Midoriya's face went red, and everybody reviewing his collection muttered in acknowledgment.

"Those are some expensive limited edition stuff" Jiro muttered while staring at a neko-might plush, with her and Rimuru's collectionist habits they knew the worth of limited edition items.

"I wonder how much his mother spent on these" I stared closely at a signed statuette of All Might, seeing the old costume I knew it was truly one of a kind.

The next room was Tokoyami's, and after 'gentle persuasion' he finally relented and opened the door to his man cave, and boy did it fit that description.

"So dark! Scary!" The girls said in unison while I tried to comfort my little crow

"T-t-t-traitor" I saw tears welling up in his eyes as everybody tried to touch his sacred bibs and bobs.

"Wow a sword so cool" Midoriya's hands hovered over a silver blade with Tokoyami's name inscribed in rune language, I only learned about it after he ranted about runic scripts.

"Don't touch that" Midoriya froze in his tracks as he felt the gaze of both Tokoyami, Rimuru, and Dark Shadow.

...

...

...

Ojiro's room was disappointingly boring, Kaminari's however was the complete opposite as his room was filled with random things that definitely did not match. Calling it a vomit decor wouldn't be wrong.

Iida's room was filled with books and glasses.. what did you expect?

Kota's room seemed cute overall with a cute bunny hanging around, however, my sharp eyes noticed a picture attached to a dart board that had been pelted more than enough times.

'is that my photo?' I saw the signature blue hair and realized Kota could hold a grudge, turning my gaze towards Kota I saw him slightly flinch.

'shame, I can't beat him up with so many witnesses'

...

"We can't visit Bakugo cuz he's sleeping..." Kirishima scratched the back of his head as the class stood disappointed in front of his dormitory. Soon the boys' gaze landed on Rimuru's room.

"Fine fine I'll let you take a peek" I opened the door and as soon as it did the class's faces went into absolute shock!

"It's so normal yet so cool!" In an instant, my room was flooded with the class resting on my expensive couch.

"Eh, Rimuru since when did you start reading?" Kaminari spotted the bookshelf which was filled with CD cases, Games, and books.

"Well I doubt you read, one quirk use and you're too stupid to be able to" I retorted making Jiro spit out her water, with Ice cubes made by my High-tech fridge.

"Come on come on let's hurry up!" Mina pointed at the other side of the hall where the rest of the rooms were.

Kirishima's room was a training junky's set dream, with training equipment all around, with his bed just being a mattress put on the floor...

"This is manly" Kirishima flexed his muscles as the neutral expressions of everyone didn't change, they didn't doubt that that's what his room would look like.

Shoji again had a boring room, sero's room looked comfy with a nice atmosphere, and every piece of furniture was made of wood as house plants were planted here and there. He seemed to have quite a nice room.

Shoto's room made everybody's eyes pop out of their sockets as they saw an entire makeover! With traditional tatami flooring and sliding doors, they were amazed that he managed to remodel his entire room and decorate it as well.

Sato just cooked... Bruh...

Though it was tasty I have to say.

"Alright Jiro let's go inside!" Mina jumped onto Jiro's back as they made it to her dorm, opening the door slowly they were amazed at the sight in front of them.

"So many instruments!" The class shouted in unison, a piano, drums, guitar, bass, speaker system, marimba, grand piano, and a pipe organ... Just kidding, however, it was really nice to see.

"I see you changed your wall colors" I smirked remembering the pastel pink, Jiro's cheeks turned red before hiding her face. With her room now decorated in her favorite colors, she felt much more comfortable than she did even in her own house.

The next room was Hagakure's, with the entire room decorated with pink it screamed 'girl's room' and so did the next. Mina's was tamer with the pastel pink, instead, it was tiger print everything. Why are there pink chairs with tiger prints for sale? Don't ask me.

Uraraka's room was strangely plain, however, Yaomomo's room was anything but that. With the bed taking 80% of the bedroom it was a miracle she could even fit her desk, not that she would use it as she had 7 MacBooks lined up which she said 'are completely and absolutely necessary'

*******************************

Needless to say Sato won the vote... I forgot that was even a thing in the first place.

"*Yawn* I'm going to sleep see ya later crocodile" I waved my class off before walking up the stairs however I was stopped by Jiro.

"Hey, I'm sleeping in your room"

....

"....sure?"

'Isn't that still a win-win?'

A/N This chapter is WAY longer than it should've been, but I really wanted to describe some of the rooms while keeping the slice-of-life vibe. Needless to say, I yapped pretty hard.
