Meet The In-Laws

"Thanks for the fortune."

Hancock genuinely thanked Hawkins and exited the tent with Luffy behind her. The two walked on the groaning pirates without a caring in the world.

"Did you have fun, Hancock?"

Luffy asked Hancock. She nodded her head and stepped closer to Luffy.

"I had fun."

She leaned her body on his causing their shoulders to touch.

"It's mostly thanks to you, Luffy."

"I'm glad."

Luffy was smiling from ear to ear. They walked practically sticking to each other.

"So what do you want to do now, Hancock?"

"I don't know."

Hancock rested her head on Luffy's shoulder.

"I'm satisfied with you by my side."

She held on to Luffy's hand and entangled their fingers together. She looked up at Luffy with longing.

"Let's find somewhere to be alone."

"Fine by me."

Luffy answered with a smile. The two then left the game district. Some distance away there was a group of people who were observing them. They were a man and a woman.

"S-Sabo....Is this going in the direction I think it is?"

The woman, Koala was looking at Luffy and Hancock with a flushed face.

"Way to go, Luffy."

Sabo stood beside her wearing a huge grin.

"This isn't time to be a proud brother, Sabo!"

Let's go back a bit. After the Barto Club departed from Luffy and Hancock. They were riding through the festival on the dinosaurs, they stole, with proud looks on their faces.

"Hm?"

That's when Bartolomeo spotted a peculiar pair who were trying not to stand out.

"Sabo-Dai-senpai!"

He steered his dinosaur over to Sabo and Koala.

"Oh, Roosterhead."

Sabo smiled when he saw Bartolomeo. The Barto Club dismounted their dinosaurs and formed a straight line.

"We greet the Heavenly Elder Brother!"

They bowed their heads in servitude.

"Shhh! You guys, we're trying to be lowkey here!"

Koala was in dismay.

"It's fine, it's fine. They probably know we're here already."

Sabo on the other hand was more relaxed.

"Roosterhead, how have you been? Haven't seen you since Dressrosa, but I've heard you've been busy spreading Luffy's name around. I heard you even picked a fight with Red Hair Shanks."

"Yes, we're dedicating our lives to spreading the gospel of Luffy-Senpai!"

"I see, good job."

(I wonder how Luffy will react when he finds out about this?)

Sabo wore a small smirk.

"Speaking of Luffy-Senpai, he's here."

"I thought as much. He loves this kind of thing."

Bartolomeo nodded.

"I left him with my comrade."

"Comrade?"

"Boa Hancock. They seem to be on a date, so I excused myself since I'm a gentleman."

"Oh, a date huh?.........Wait, date?"

Sabo had to double-take.

"Who and Who?"

"Luffy-Senpai and Boa Hancock."

"Are you sure you weren't imagining it?"

"Nope. We spent time at the Dino Rodeo together."

Bartolomeo pointed at the dinosaurs behind them.

"....Seriously?"

"Seriously."

".....Koala, let's go! I got to see this!"

"Wait, Sabo!"

Koala ran behind Sabo who was running at top speed.

"See you later, Sabo-Dai-Senpai!"

The Barto Club waved as they watched them run.

Present time, Koala pointed at Luffy.

"This is a big deal! The son of the Revolutionary Army's Leader is in a relationship with a Warlord of the Sea! This news can rock the balance of the world!"

"You're right."

Sabo started pondering for a bit before saying—

"I wonder how Dragon would react to learning that he's about to be a granddad?"

"Sabo!"

"Come on. Just try to imagine it. Dragon acting like a grandpa."

Koala stopped to think. She pictured a grey-haired Dragon holding a baby.

"There, there. Don't cry, it's Grandpapa."

She imagined him lifting the baby with a stoic expression while speaking in a baby voice.

".....It doesn't suit him."

"Wow, how cold."

Sabo chuckled.

"Ah, that's not it! Sabo, what should we do with this information?!"

"I'm following them."

"Why? To gather information?"

Sabo shook his head.

"I've never imagined Luffy being someone's boyfriend. I kind of want to see it."

Sabo walked off with a small grin on his face.

"Huh? Wait, Sabo!"

Koala followed behind him.

"We need to take this seriously!"

"So, how was today, Luffy?"

Hancock held onto Luffy's arms as they walked.

"It was great since I spent it with you."

"Oh, Luffy~!"

Hancock pressed her body on Luffy with a flushed face.

"Damn, Luffy actually has game."

Sabo and Koala were on a roof watching them.

"That's my little brother. I thought him well."

"What do you mean 'you thought him well'?"

Koala shook her head.

"What do you know about swooning women?"

"I think I know enough. I got you after all."

"W-Wha....When did you g-get me?!"

Sabo silently grabbed Koala's hand.

"Eh?!"

Her body flinched.

"S-Sabo..."

Sabo pulled her and forced her behind him.

"Huh?"

Caught off guard, Koala watched as Sabo coated his fist in flames.

"Fire Fist!"

He emitted a burst of flames from his fist. The flames clashed with a kick before being extinguished.

"Who are they?"

Koala readied to fight but Sabo lifted his hand to stop her.

"We mean you or your queen no harm, women of Kuja."

From the flames, Gloriosa emerged with a serious expression.

"The Kuja Pirates? Were they following Luffy and Hancock?"

Koala mumbled. Gloriosa looked at Sabo and Koala from head to toe as Marie and Sonia appeared beside her. She bowed her head.

"My apologies. I saw someone tailing the Snake Princess and Luffy and got impatient despite my age."

She lifted her head.

"I hope you can forgive us, Flame Emperor?"

Sabo showed a bright smile.

"There's nothing to forgive. I would've done the same thing if I were in your shoes."

"I see."

Gloriosa smiled.

"Then, can we talk?"

"Sure. It's better to move before Luffy realizes that we're following them."

The group of them moved some distance away from Luffy and Hancock, but still enough so that they could observe them. Luffy and Hancock arrived at a park where they sat on a bench with their bodies still sticking together.

"Allow me to formally introduce myself."

Sabo made a gentleman's bow.

"I am Sabo, Luffy's older brother."

(He didn't mention his role in the Revolutionary Army....So he's talking purely as Luffy's family.)

Gloriosa returned the bow.

"I am the former Empress of Amazon Lily, Gloriosa. You can think of me as Hancock's grandmother."

She gestured to Sonia and Marie behind her.

"This is Hancock's younger sisters, Sandersonia and Mariegold."

Sabo bowed towards them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. This is my...."

Sabo looked at Koala.

"What are we?"

"Huh? You're asking that in front of strangers?!"

"You're right."

Sabo wrapped his arms around Koala's shoulders.

"This is my partner, Koala."

Koala froze in his embrace for a bit.

"G-Get off me!"

She pushed him away with a red face. Sabo didn't pay it any mind and smilingly looked at Gloriosa.

"For her grandmother, you look incredibly young, madam."

"Pay it no heed. This appearance is just temporary. I'm just a sack of bones."

"I'm sure you're still quite the beauty."

"Thank you."

(What a polite young man.)

Gloriosa looked pleased.

"From the way you spoke earlier, I take it you guys are supportive of Luffy and Hancock's relationship. Meaning, it's not something they're doing in secret?"

Sabo asked.

"We not only support it, we did everything to make it happen."

"I see."

A grin crawled on Sabo's face.

"My little brother is special, isn't he?"

Gloriosa nodded. Sabo's grin only grew.

"Still, I'm surprised. Luffy is actually in a relationship. That crybaby would only talk about adventures when we were kids."

"They're not officially in one yet."

Marie cut in.

"Really?"

Koala looked over at Hancock and Luffy.

"They look so in love though."

"Luffy probably told her to wait until he becomes Pirate King."

Sabo looked at the sisters.

"Am I right?"

They nodded.

"Hahaha! That's the Luffy thing to do."

He burst out laughing and only stopped after looking at Luffy's face.

"Don't worry. My brother loves your sister."

"How can you tell?"

Sabo looked at them.

"The same way you can tell your sister loves my brother, sibling bond."

He flashed a smile. Marie and Sonia's cheeks reddened a bit after seeing his smile.

"Huh?"

Koala noticed this and looked back and forth between them and Sabo.

"?!"

Her body flinched when she felt Sabo hold her hand. He wasn't looking at her and only at Luffy.

"......"

Her face relaxed and a smile appeared on her face.

"Still this relationship could be beneficial for the Revolutionary Army. With a Warlord on our side, we could do some real damage."

Gloriosa and the sisters frowned.

"Ah, don't worry. I'm not planning on using Hancock in any way. I was saying that some people would see me not doing so as a huge waste. But honestly, screw those people."

He looked back at the girls.

"I won't do anything that could take my brother's happiness away from him."

Gloriosa and the sisters started to relax.

"However, there's something we must discuss."

"....What is it?"

Gloriosa put her guard up. Sabo showed a huge grin.

"The names of my nieces and nephews."

"Huh?"

"How many nieces and nephews are we going to have anyway?"

"Wait, wait, wait! Aren't we moving a little too fast?!"

Gloriosa asked.

"Are we? Because from here it looks like Hancock is ready to have kids."

He pointed at Hancock who was looking in Luffy's eyes with great longing. Gloriosa and the sisters remembered all of Hancock's ramblings about her future children.

"....I can't deny that."

"I thought so."

Sabo put on a teasing grin.

"Don't worry. Once Luffy switches his focus from pirating to Hancock she'll have all the children she could ever want. Probably more than she bargains for."

He burst out laughing. Koala hit him upside the head with a red face.

"Why do you have to act like this?!"

"I'm only speaking the truth. Once Luffy sets his mind on something, he's gonna do it. If that something he wants to do is Hancock, then—Ow, ow,ow!"

Koala grabbed his face and started stretching it.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!"

Gloriosa looked at him and Koala before glancing at Luffy and Hancock. A smile slowly appeared on her face.

"Young love is adorable."
