A Brick wall

Austin's jaw dropped in astonishment when Emily agreed to fight him, despite her broken arm being bandaged up. His initial sympathy for her quickly gave way to indignation as he wondered if she was looking down on him. How could she possibly think she could defeat him in such a state?

Daniel, observing the exchange, interjected, "Emily, perhaps we should reschedule the fight for when you've fully recovered. No need to rush things."

Emily's voice remained soft and steady as she insisted, "I'll be fine. Let's do it now."

Austin scoffed, his anger building. "Fine then. Don't blame your loss on being handicapped."

Austin cracked his knuckles, ready to put up a good fight. Emily, on the other hand, seemed unfazed, her expression betraying nothing.
