Chapter 27
It's been two days since I got that message from Kirito, Preparing for the raid on the labyrinth. The Frontlines and with the assistance of the guilds have made us well prepared for what is coming next. I arrived at 6:35 AM, Toru and Sato had also arrived at the same time as well. We weren't the first to arrive outside of the labyrinth as there were camps already settled in outside.
"Huh, looks like the Frontlines have already been planning since yesterday."
"Yeah, Also Kirin, is this the Toru person you've been talking about?" Sato pointed at Toru.
I nodded as he'd look over at her, lending his hand out to her. "I'm Sato, Kirin has told me good things about you." He said respectfully as Toru shook his hand, smiling "I'm Toru, Nice to meet you too." She spoke in Japanese as Sato immediately was able to pick it up.
"Oh, you're Japanese?"
This caught Toru and I by surprise as Toru seemed excited that she now has a friend to speak to in Japanese. As they talked and got to know each other I just watched a bit as their synergy seemed to be on par with ours. I turned to walk over to the smiths there as there was a brown haired girl with a hazel brown eye color.
"May I help you?" She noticed, looking over as she sets down some ingots.
"Uh yeah, can you repair this sword for me?"
I asked as I pulled out the two broken items, setting it on the counter for her to see. The girl walked over and looked at it, touching the flat side of the blade as she picked it up to see the damages. She took a good inspection of the blade as she looked at the other half of the blade, seeing that the cracks on it fits the sword as well, she cracked a small smirk as she smiled.
"I can fix it right up, but you got to know it costs to fix up a dungeon weapon like this."

I nodded as I pulled out three pouches full of Col (about 690 Col). She looked at it with a genuine smile, She lends her hand out as I shook her hand. "I'll notify you when it's done, Lisbeth at your service!" she said with a smile as I nodded, letting go of her hand as I left from the smithing tent.
I checked the time as it was 6:38 in the morning. Time's flowing slow today... I swiped the menu away as I saw the Knights of Blood Oath guild, their armor and their leader Heathcliff. I then walked back to Toru who was looking for me as she ran up to me. "What's the hurry?" I asked her as she shook her head, replying, "I was looking, that's all.". I sighed a bit as I saw the large entrance doors of the labyrinth, knowing that we're so close of going up a floor if we finish it.
"Heeey! Kirin!"
A familiar voice called out as I turned to see where it came from, to my surprise it came from Kirito, walking with a girl beside his right. I immediately recognized the cape as it was Asuna. Toru ran up to Asuna as she did the same, the both of them hugging each other as they began speaking to each other.
"Girls am I right?"
Kirito commented, I looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he scoffed. "What brings you here, well besides the raid." I asked him as he replied, "Asuna wanted to come visit her friend, which is Toru as you know.". Although what I said to him on the first floor was irrational, We've come to terms within the past few weeks.
"So any information on the labyrinth?"
"Argo gave me a rundown from the scouts that found it, It's a pretty deep floor and there are some traps inside. So we have to be careful of which rooms we go in."
"I see..."
Traps this early...I guess that was a change.
Kirito looked at me as he pats my back as I turned my attention to him. He gave me a confident smile as he said, "We'll make it to floor 3, If it's like the beta then the strategy should still work.". I had completely forgotten about the strategy bug on this floor as I nodded to him, checking the time as it was now 6:44 AM. I sighed as we had to wait until 8 in the morning.

Just as promised, Everyone had around around 7 and everyone was getting prepared to raid at 8. As promised by Lisbeth, A Chime! sound notified me, opening my menu and seeing that it was a message from Lisbeth.
"Come to the Smithing tent, your sword's finished."
I closed my menu and headed over towards the smithing tent, walking over as I had a sudden feeling of looking behind me. I stopped to turn around and look as no one was behind me, confused I headed to Lisbeth as she was cleaning another sword.
"Oh you got my message."
"I did, so my sword is finished?"
"Yup, here you go Kirin" She was friendlier than when I first met her but I shrugged it off as I took the sword, finally it had a name appear when I inspected it...<

The stats being reforged and refined were better than my currently equipped sword. I equipped it as I sheathed it. "Thanks a lot Lisbeth." I looked at her and bowed as she smiled, saying "Anytime Kirin, come back when you need a sword forged!" I then hurried off as I jogged over to Kirito who was nearby.
"Hey Kirito!"
I shouted as Kirito turned to look at me waving, I waved back as I stood beside him and looked over at the crowd near the door. "Well, today is the day of the raid." I said as Kirito nodded, the both of us heading towards the crowd, hearing the large doors of the Labyrinth finally opening, The raid had finally begun...
