As Horyu walked towards Hokage Tower, the early morning sun cast long shadows on the streets of Konoha. He contemplated the possibilities. With his growing mastery in Genjutsu, he could easily infiltrate any location, undetected. "Thousands of people around, and they wouldn't even know I was there," he thought, a dark amusement in his tone.
His focus then turned to the coming meeting. He couldn't help but wonder about Shisui's plan for the shinobi teams. "Shisui's no ordinary leader. He thinks differently... dangerously. What's he really planning with these new team structures?"
Reflecting his own complex thoughts about the meeting with Shisui, the new Hokage. He couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and trepidation about what lay ahead. The changes Shisui was implementing in Konoha, particularly the restructuring of shinobi teams, hinted at a new, possibly darker era for the village.
While walking, Horyu opened his Non-Shinobi skills interface. The translucent screen hovered before him, displaying his recent improvements:

He approached the Hokage Tower, where Kurenai, Hinata, and Shino were already waiting for him. Over the past month, his relationship with them had evolved significantly. Hinata greeted him with a broad smile.
"Morning, team," Horyu greeted them.
Kurenai nodded, her eyes reflecting a sense of accomplishment. "Good morning, Horyu." Kurenai, too, couldn't help but smile, her eyes reflecting pride and a hint of intrigue. Kurenai's earlier prediction had held true; Horyu had indeed proven himself to be a Genjutsu prodigy. She was even contemplating introducing him to her father to learn the advanced techniques of their clan.
Shino slowly responded, "Good morning."
As Horyu and his team entered Hokage Tower, the imposing structure loomed over them, its architecture a testament to the strength and history of Konoha. The hallways echoed with the footsteps of busy shinobi, a reminder of the village's constant activity and vigilance.
The team was directed to a meeting room where Shisui Uchiha awaited them. The room was spacious, with a large window offering a panoramic view of the village. Shisui stood by the window, his back to them as they entered. He turned, his eyes scanning each member of the team with a discerning gaze.
Shisui's eyes lingered on Horyu, a flicker of interest crossing his features. "So, you're Horyu Uchiha," he began, his tone measured. "I've heard about your recent accomplishments. Impressive for someone of your age."
Horyu nodded, his expression unreadable. "Thank you, Lord Hokage. I do what I can for the village."
Shisui smiled slightly, then turned his attention to the rest of the team. "Kurenai-san, Hinata, Shino. You've all shown remarkable growth. But the times are changing, and so must our strategies."
Kurenai stepped forward, her posture respectful. "We understand, Lord Hokage. We're prepared for whatever tasks you deem necessary."
Shisui walked to the center of the room, his presence commanding. "I'm restructuring our shinobi teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Your team, under Yuhi Kurenai's leadership, will specialize in Search and Destroy missions."
Hinata's eyes widened slightly, but she remained silent. Shino simply nodded, his usual stoic demeanor in place.
Shisui continued, "Your skills complement each other well for this type of mission. Horyu, your Genjutsu expertise, combined with Hinata's Byakugan and Shino's insects, will be invaluable in locating and neutralizing targets."
Horyu's lips twitched into a half-smirk, his eyes glinting with a mix of anticipation and strategy. "Understood. We'll make sure to live up to the expectations."
Shisui's gaze returned to Horyu, his expression becoming more serious. "Your rapid rise in skill hasn't gone unnoticed, Horyu. The Uchiha clan is proud to have a shinobi like you. Keep this up, and you'll soon be more than just a Genin."
Horyu nodded, maintaining his composure. "Thank you, Lord Hokage. I will strive to meet your expectations." His voice was even, betraying none of the inner machinations of his mind.
Shisui handed a scroll to Kurenai. "In Wave Country, a tyrant named Gato terrorizes the people. A bridge builder, Tazuna, sought our help under false pretenses. We saw through his lies. Normally, there would be consequences, but given his financial situation, we've decided on a different approach."
Horyu's mind worked rapidly, connecting the dots. Tazuna, the bridge builder from the anime, had managed to deceive everyone in the original story, a fact that always seemed odd to Horyu. He thought, 'Didn't Konoha perform background checks on their clients?' Shisui's leadership clearly differed from his predecessor's.
As if reading his thoughts, Shisui added, "We'll earn our keep in other ways."
Horyu's lips curled into a knowing smirk. 'They're going after Gato,' he concluded silently.
Shisui continued, "This mission is delicate. Despite his notorious activities, Gato is seen as a respectable businessman in the area. We cannot openly act against him. Your task is to protect Tazuna and wait for Gato to make a move. If he doesn't, provoke him discreetly. If he attacks my shinobi first, it gives us the justification to bring him down without drawing unwanted attention from other villages. Understood?"
"Crystal clear, Lord Hokage," Kuranai responded. There was a barely concealed excitement on Horyu. The prospect of a mission that involved manipulation and strategy appealed to his nature.
As they walked away, Horyu's system interface chimed with a notification. He mentally opened the message, reading the new quest details with a smirk:

–Sparing Zabuza and Haku's Lives (First Encounter):
Objective: Subdue but do not fatally wound Zabuza and Haku during the first encounter.
Reward: +250 XP, +200 Reputation with Hidden Mist Village, Special Ninjutsu Scroll "Water Dragon Bullet Technique", Zabuza's Sword Technique.
–Eliminating Zabuza and Haku (First Encounter):
Objective: Defeat and eliminate Zabuza and Haku during the first encounter.

–Sparing Zabuza and Haku (Second Encounter):
Objective: Again subdue but not kill Zabuza and Haku in the second confrontation.
Reward: Assassin's Pact, Network of Shadows, Alliance Offer from Zabuza, Intelligence on Hidden Mist Village's Anbu.
–Eliminating Zabuza and Haku (Second Encounter):
Objective: Eliminate Zabuza and Haku in the second confrontation.
Reward: +800 XP, Advanced Ninja Tools (Chakra Enhanced Wire x 100 meters, Flash Bombs x 10), +150 Reputation with Shisui Faction.
–Rescue Tazuna's Daughter and Grandson:
Objective: Prevent the kidnapping of Tazuna's daughter and grandson by Gato's men.
Reward: +300 Reputation with Tazuna's Family, Access to Rare Crafting Resources in Wave Country (Wave Country's Special Timber x 20, Reinforced Metal x 10).
–Confrontation with Gato:
Objective: Navigate the confrontation with Gato and his mercenaries.
Reward: 1000 Ryo, New System Function(Based on Horyu's actions) Passive Income might be activated.

Decision: Choose to leave a portion of Gato's assets for the development of Wave Country.

–Take Everything for Shisui's Mission:
Decision: Secure all of Gato's assets for the Uchiha Clan and Shisui's mission.
Outcome: +1000 Reputation with Shisui Faction, Large Monetary Gain (20000 Ryo), Potential Future Consequences with Wave Country Relations (-200 Reputation).

"Yeah, just strategizing," Horyu replied nonchalantly, hiding his inner calculations.
