Chapter 1: Elijah

A boy with black hair, black eyes, and a body covered in blood, cuts, and deep wounds needing medical treatment before they worsen. His face smeared with blood, he sat in the chair, pondering where it all went wrong and why. The care he had shown, the trust he had given, and the Brotherhood he had bestowed upon this man.

"I promise you, an eye for an eye. You broke my trust and now you must pay," he said in a low tone, but the bloodlust surrounding his aura showed with a crimson glow. The pressure enveloping his body seemed to twist space, as his head raised at the sound of the door opening.

Ignoring the boy, the two men stood beside each other. "Ronin, what did you do to this kid?" he asked, somewhat shocked. "You've gone overboard. He's just a kid. I hope you didn't break him."

"He couldn't even break and ..... and!! ..... and!!!! his blood," he shouted, crazed.

"His blood what?" he asked, but the man was lost in his fantasy. Ignoring him, he walked forward, raised his hand, and healed all of his injuries, leaving some visible scars. "Shit, they were too deep to completely heal them," he said, stretching his head.

"Hey kid, you are now being given a chance to escape. Your luck," he said. At that moment, Ronin snapped out of his illusion and stared at the man with killing intent.

"Don't touch him, he's mine," he spoke with so much killing intent that the man was shocked.

"Hey, hey, calm down, will you?" he just threw a paper in his direction, which Ronin frowned at, causing his room to shake with overwhelming killing intent surrounding the place.

Before going overboard, he sighed and left the room without a single word. "Shit, that was scary," he wiped the sweat off his forehead. He moved closer and put a chain around his neck, glowing with some runes, before releasing him from the torture chair.

In his gaze was still anger, but soon calmness was the only thing that could be seen as he was transported somewhere in the building. He felt no relief, seeing the chain on his neck, which was a slave collar, meaning he couldn't disobey the owner. If that's the case and what the man said, he knows that he isn't free even in the slightest.

Wondering where he was being taken and how he got here, disappointment was the only thing he felt. But still, it was mostly his fault for putting trust in him. Realizing his mistake, he is dragged down and enters a door. They blocked his vision for a moment, and soon the visage of a woman with silky black hair, a gorgeous face, and a lustful body that could attract and cultivate any man close to being around her 20s.

Her precise gaze landed on me, and the man beside me said, "This is the only one we have, but he seems that he doesn't or can't even cultivate mana, Miss Ava."

"It doesn't matter," she touched the transfer button on her watch, sending it to the man. His phone rang, and he passed the kid with a cheerful smile.

"It has been amazing doing business with you, Miss Ava," he removed the chains on my hands, but the slave collar was still there. The woman before him just ignored him and signaled for him to follow.

POV

So I am surviving by being a slave for someone. Many became sex slaves, worker slaves, or just fighting slaves. Which one will I become? From the aura she is trying to suppress, I am not a sex slave or a fighting slave. Maybe I'm wrong; will just have to see.

POV ended

Leaving that building, a city filled with many wonders reminded him of the first city he went to. Looking around, he saw that many people had slave collars on them, with good health but unfavorable conditions, barely living their lives. He felt bad, but he couldn't do anything at the moment.

The feeling of powerlessness filled his beating heart and drove him to become even more powerful, to never feel the feeling of powerlessness. In a focused state, a luxurious floating car reached their waiting point, and the woman who had entered said, "Come on."

Without a response, he entered the car, and she asked, "What is your name?"

"Elijah," he answered. She nodded and didn't say anything further.

He stared at her and couldn't imagine such a beautiful woman would need a slave for anything. He didn't know her intentions of taking him in, which made things difficult for him. But soon enough, he arrived at a huge manor. His curiosity increased more about the woman sitting just beside him as his gaze intensified.

She didn't react and just left the car, and his side was opened by a maid. A female with black hair, but short with emerald eyes, her beauty couldn't match that woman, but at the very least, she was beautiful. The woman walking forward said, "Give him something to wear and bring him to my place."

An unexpected outcome showed itself to him, will this be fortune or misfortune, with the future being unknown? Moving with curiosity and excitement, Elijah followed the maid and was given something to wear.

In a luxurious manor with paintings and things that Elijah could only dream of, the more he saw himself here, the more shocked he became, remembering how he lived up to now.
