Chapter 12: Going To Be Hunted Down

A Month Later

Elijah stared at the ground, cluttered with weapons of all kinds, and frowned. Annoyance etched across his face as he voiced his frustration, "I don't want a weapon."

Amy, standing nearby and still looking beautiful, sighed. "Young master," she said in a tired voice, "I understand you want to use your fists, but you still need to know how to use other weapons."

"Why?"

"It's better to know a little of everything and master one. To defeat your opponent, you need to have some understanding of swordsmanship, spearmanship, and other weapons," Amy explained.

Veins popped on Elijah's forehead, and he sighed. "Okay then, I'll choose the sword first."

"Finally," Amy muttered, losing her patience. "Then let's move on to element training…."

A voice came from behind. "I'll be training him."

They both turned to see a stunning woman. It was Ava, her beauty so striking that men could only admire her from afar. If Elijah knew how lucky he was to meet these women, he'd realize how many men would try to kill him for the same position.

"Ava!"

"My lady, when did you arrive?" Amy inquired, blowing out a sigh.

"Just moments ago. How has he been?" Ava asked.

"A headache," Amy replied with a smile.

"Hey, I'm right here!" Elijah retorted.

Ava chuckled. "Then take a rest. I'll take over from here."

Amy nodded and disappeared. Elijah snorted, "I have been behaving myself."

Ava chuckled. "I see you've reached (F) rank… Wow, you're just about to reach F+ rank, huh?" She was amazed at the speed of his progress.

"Yeah, just a little bit more, and I'll reach F+ rank," he sighed, standing up.

"Okay, come here," Ava instructed. Elijah walked over to her. They were the same height, about 175 cm, as she looked into his eyes and caressed his cheek. "Good job." She smiled and stepped back, an orb appearing in her hands.

"There are five basic elements, with other elements formed from fusing these. You know this much, right?" Elijah nodded, touching the orb.

The orb glowed brilliantly as two colors, black and gold, circled each other. The light grew brighter and brighter before the orb shattered. Elijah stared at Ava's once calm expression, now wide-eyed in shock.

"What the…?" she exclaimed.

'Wow, this is the first time I've heard her curse. Miss Amy does that all the time,' Elijah thought, wanting to laugh. "What happened?" he asked.

"That's why Amy was so tired," Ava shook her head. "In simple terms, you're a monster that shouldn't exist."

"What!?"

"Remember, never tell a soul about this," Ava warned, her eyes serious.

"Okay," Elijah nodded.

"Apart from the five basic elements and their fusions, there are two other elements that are the source of all non-elements: the Dark element and the Light element. These elements, Yin and Yang, are the building blocks of everything.

"There's an evolved version of these elements that allows the person to almost control everything. In simple terms, you can use all five elements combined in the Yang and all other elements in Yin."

Elijah nodded, still confused. "Yeah, what does that mean for me?"

Ava slapped his head. "It means you're basically a walking bomb, you idiot. The only person who ever had full power of one of these elements exploded and destroyed a whole solar system."

"Seriously?" Elijah was shocked, stretching his back.

"Yes, and if anyone finds out about this, you'll be hunted down and killed," Ava added.

"…" Elijah stood there, panicking. "Wait, what did I do? What about using my power for their own goals or something?"

"Nope, they'll kill you right then and there. You're a walking time bomb, and if you don't explode, your potential to become even more powerful than those old foes is so high that they won't take the risk," Ava explained further.

"Nooooo! I don't want to die yet. I still have foes to defeat, so many foods to taste, and so many beautiful women to meet. It's not my time yet!" Elijah shouted.

Ava laughed. "So you aren't content with having the two of us?"

"No, that's not it," Elijah said, wiping his tears. "The universe is so vast that I don't think this is all it has for me. You and Miss Amy are beautiful, but there must be more out there. And the food… oh man, the food."

"Hehehehe, you're an idiot," Ava laughed. "Don't worry. If you keep your mouth shut and don't reveal anything, you'll be fine."

"Really?" Elijah asked, still teary-eyed.

"Yes," Ava answered.

"Yes! Wait for me, food, ladies, and my enemies!" Elijah shouted, only to be shocked by Ava's next words.

"Hey, don't go around sleeping with women. Remember, you're married," Ava said, and the world went silent.

"Wait, what!?" Elijah didn't shout; he was just utterly confused by Ava's words.
