Chapter 14: Where To

Mike was well-known among the royal and noble families, not because he was the young master of his own household, but because he was famous for flirting with almost every young miss he encountered.

At the moment, Mike had a young miss beside him as he drank and talked to her. Elijah entered the bar with Elena, and while most didn't notice them, the powerful did, as their eyes turned to the two. With Elijah's indifferent smile and Elena's enchanting presence, they seemed like superstars.

"There he is," Elena pointed out.

Elijah smiled and disappeared from his position.

At that moment, Mike was saying, "Oh, what about...?" His eyes focused as he turned around, blocking a kick from behind. His eyes narrowed in annoyance at being attacked out of nowhere, a golden light appearing on his body for just a moment.

Seeing the face of his attacker, a smile and a confused expression appeared on his face. "Elijah?"

Elijah smiled and said, "See, he's not weak." That's when everyone looked their way.

Elena walked over and corrected, "No, he isn't, but by my standards, he is."

"Sis," Mike's annoyed face returned, "What are you doing here, and why are you with Elijah?"

"Ooo, I wanted to see you, and she is showing me around," Elijah said, holding Mike's shoulder. "And sorry if I startled you." His gentle smile was directed at the young girl beside Mike.

"It's okay," she spoke in a low voice. 'Damn, this is the young master of the Dominic family and one of the seven miracles in the same building.'

"You should have waited; can't you see I'm in the middle of something?" Mike whispered in Elijah's ear.

"Don't do that. Let's fight and prove to your sister that she's wrong," Elijah said.

"I don't care what she thinks of me," Mike replied.

"That's mean, you know," Elena said.

"Like anything can hurt that dark heart of yours," Mike retorted.

Elena pouted and looked away with an angry expression, but deep down, she wasn't truly upset.

"Hahaha, come on, man. It's going to be fun," Elijah said.

"Just fight with my sister. She's on the same level as Victor," Mike suggested.

"She said, 'I will only fight you when I know there's a chance of you defeating me.' In some arrogant voice," Elijah said.

"Hey, I'm right here. You know that hurts, right?" Elena said.

"But it's true, and you also looked cute saying it," Elijah said, and Elena just smiled without commenting. "How about it, Mike?"

"No," Mike replied.

"Why?" Elijah asked.

Mike slapped Elijah's head and said, "You already know, you idiot."

Rubbing his head, Elijah frowned and said, "You could better impress by showing your skills."

"Okay, where are we going to fight?" Mike instantly changed his mind.

"Yes, that's the spirit," Elijah laughed, excited.

From behind, a group of boys approached, led by a young man with red hair and blue eyes, who stared in their direction. "Hey, young master of the Dominic family."

Elijah looked back with curiosity, eyeing the group of four people with arrogant looks on their faces. Before he could answer, Elena spoke up, "What do you want?" Her eyes were cold and annoyed.

The red-haired guy and his team sweated a little before he said, "I'm talking to him, Miss Elena," with some respect in his tone, but also not wanting to anger her.

Elena's eyes grew colder, but Elijah's smile cooled the situation. "Hey, I'm the young master," Elijah said, staring at Elena for a moment as her frown disappeared, though her annoyance did not.

Glancing at Elijah and avoiding Elena's gaze, the red-haired guy asked, "Do you mind if I join that fight of yours?"

"Yeah, we do," Mike answered, a frown forming on his face.

The red-haired guy ignored Mike and Elena, waiting for Elijah's answer. Not sure why they were trying to stop him from fighting this guy, Elijah grumbled and said, "Okay, but Mike won't be involved in the fight."

Elena pinched him, and Mike said, "You're an idiot."

"Huh? What?" Not waiting for Mike to explain, the red-haired guy said, "Where to?"

"Let's go outside to the beach. That should be fine," Elijah answered.

"Okay, then don't chicken out," he said, leaving the bar with almost everyone else who wanted to see the match.

Elena then said, "You idiot, didn't you notice us trying to remove him from here?"

"Yes, why did you agree?" Mike asked, much calmer.

Elijah smiled and said, "Why should I run away?"

Elena sighed and explained, "He fought one of the ten elite nobles. Even if they are not one of us, they are extremely powerful, with their leader being someone who can even challenge us."

"Yeah, but he isn't the leader," Elijah said.

"Yes, he isn't, and also, he didn't win that fight with one of the elite nobles, but his power is troublesome. The person he fought is still in a coma to this day. That's why we were trying to stop you from fighting him," Mike added.

"That's okay. You don't need to worry. And one more thing, he's strong. Why should I let a strong opponent go?" Elijah's smile told the two that he wasn't going to listen to them.

"Okay, just don't regret it," Elena said.

"At least let us tell you about his ability," Mike offered.

"No, I'm good," Elijah said, leaving the bar and going outside
